Coordinator is a key member of our Field Operations team at Galileo
Learning. In this role, you will provide administrative, systems,
and event planning support to a team of 16 that manages over 80
camps in five geographies. You'll be on a team that is passionate
about bringing exceptional summer camp experiences to over 25,000
kids through expanding our reach and executing a high quality
program. YOU WILL
- Provide dazzling overall admin support to the Field Operations
team , including everything from coordinating schedules to keeping
documentation updated to supporting the team with
cross-departmental follow-through.
- Impeccably track vital data and content through preparing
reports in google sheets, Salesforce, and other tools.
- Be an integral member of event-planning projects , managing
travel logistics, securing venues, negotiating contracts, preparing
materials and supplies, and serving as the on-site contact during
assigned events.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for camp escalations over
the summer. You'll respond to our camp hotline and calmly support
Camp Directors, while following protocols for pulling in the
appropriate internal resources to help solve the problems.
- Consistently support the creation, maintenance, and execution
of work planning systems, including updating our Notion knowledge
base and the team work plans. YOU ARE

COMPENSATION We anticipate the compensation for this Full-Time,
non-exempt, position to be $25 - $30 per hour. Exact compensation
may vary and will be based on multiple factors, including geography

located in the San Francisco Bay area adhere to a hybrid office and
work-from-home policy. Galileo Headquarters is located at 111
Myrtle St, Ste 300, Oakland, CA 94607. Remote, work-from-home,
location is possible in the following states: California, Colorado,
Illinois, and Washington.We are only able to employ candidates who
are based in the following states: California, Colorado, Illinois,
Massachusetts, New York, or Washington. SCHEDULE Work hours are
anticipated to be 40 hours per week on average, typically Monday
through Friday, regular office hours. Occasional weekend work may
be required to attend company events.Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or
operations coordinator role. Having worked in summer camps,
education or similar organizations is a plus!
- Technically savvy - experience with gSuite, Notion, Asana,
Salesforce, or other software platforms and/or project management
systems.
- Ability to prepare detailed reports, manipulate data using
pivot tables and basic functions, and maintain databases with high
accuracy.
- Demonstrated experience in managing long-term projects and
handling multiple tasks with overlapping deadlines.
- Proven ability to draft clear and effective business
communications and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders to
achieve project objectives.
- Ready to take on more complex tasks and demonstrate a proactive
approach.
